People to People Ambassador Programs organizes and promotes international and domestic journeys for students, athletes, and professionals. Our journeys provide the opportunities for grade school, junior, and senior high school students to learn about the history, government, economy and culture of the foreign and domestic destinations they visit. Junior and senior high school athletes have the opportunity to participate in domestic and international sports challenges. Professional journeys emphasize meetings and seminars between participants and persons in similar professions abroad. All of our participants are connecting with individuals from different backgrounds and fostering a vision of world peace and understanding

In 1956, President Dwight D. Eisenhower launched People to People, in an effort to bring nations together. We have been implementing this vision for over 40 years. In 2004 we sent over 30,000 delegates – our word for customers – to 76 countries around the world, each contributing to the enrichment of our world while taking away their own life-changing experience.
